Summer Classes for Children at Buckingham Art School (aged 8+)
All courses run from 10am-3pm, at Well Street United Reformed Church. Please bring old clothes and a packed lunch. All materials provided. £25 per student per day.

May Half Term
31st May Mixed Media, Collage and Crafts. A fun and messy workshop for those who like to experiment with art, craft and sculpture using all the materials they can.
3rd June Painting and drawing. Spend the morning honing your skills with drawing materials and paints in a series of fun experiments that will get you thinking about drawing, then in the afternoon paint your own canvas, with the only limit being your imagination!

27th July Sketchbooks on the Move! A fun day out around Buckingham, bring your own sketchbook or let us provide everything as we take a wander and learn tips for drawing people, buildings and landscapes in the natural environment. Hope for a sunny day! This class has been designed for parents to enjoy too!
3rd August Imagination and art; A picture paints a thousand words- create pieces of artwork inspired by stories music and dreams as we explore the more imaginative side of art.
10th August Pop art and Pop culture. In this bold and exciting workshop we’ll be looking at art inspired by popular culture, from Andy Warhol to graffiti, and creating some of our own.
17th Manga and Cartoon Club summer workshop; Love to draw your own cartoons and comics? Bring your stories to life in this fun one-day workshop.
24th August Acrylic painting workshop. Learn how to use this versatile paint and create your own canvas to take home. We’ll be studying colour theory and exciting techniques and tips to create vibrant and lovely artwork.
31st August Make your own sketchbooks. Tired of all your sketchbooks being too big, too small, the wrong shape, the wrong colour? Why not make your own? Learn clever techniques to make and decorate sketchbooks that are unique and personal. Parents are also welcome to join this class!
