10 - 12am GCSE ART
This is a chance to experience the satisfaction of gaining a qualification in art and to understand the different ways in which art is now taught and learnt. There will be a requirement to make a commitment to work outside the class time researching and experimenting with your own ideas.This course encourages personal artistic development and engagement with the work of other artists.

10 - 12am A/S & A Level ART
A-level allows students to develop an awareness of the importance of consumers to art and design, as well as gaining an understanding of the contribution of artists, craftspeople and designers to society and industry. Students are required to build upon the knowledge, understanding and skills gained in the GCSE with a greater depth of study. Practical skills underpin all aspects of the subject and the ability to make critical judgements are considered to be important.

For those who do not want to be tied down to a particular medium, this class explores different techniques and materials. We will look at the work of other artist and gain some understanding of the art world. One of the aims of this course is to improve observation skills as well as lots of experimenting and having fun!

This course is for those who wish to take their art to the next level. Life drawing makes you feel like an artist and makes you work like one too! It is the fastest way to improve your observational skills and a vital tool for the serious artist. Most weeks there will be a different model and a variety of poses.
