Debs Last: Art Tutor
Debs is a well-known local artist and a fully trained art teacher. She is a lively and popular tutor - always with an encouraging word for all levels of ability.
She works from both the landscape and the figure. She is inspired by the play of light and the textures of the world around us and that every picture should in some way tell a story. The paintings that Debs produces are in watercolour, acrylic and oil, many being for sale as prints. Debs did her degree in Ceramics and Glass in Leicester but now mostly works in painting and print making. She loves to experiment with different materials and techniques, and has retained a fascination for 3D elements and mixed media. Many of her recent successes feature Trompe L\’oeil.
