IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!
Monday 16th March 2020
Dear Arty Friends,
This week and next week classes are running as normal unless we are directed otherwise. For those of you who are self-isolating I will do my utmost to provide you with online videos / tutorials of any classes you’ve missed by the end of this week.
Having closely monitored government advice and guidance from Public Health England and in light of today’s new advice, I have taken the decision to run the next five week term after Easter (from Monday 20th April) as a new online delivery of classes and tutorials.
This will include 5 tutorials per week for 5 weeks covering the following topics and mediums:
Watercolour Painting x 5 weeks
Oil and Acrylic Painting x 5 weeks
Mixed Media x 5 weeks
Animals & Botanicals x 5 weeks
Portraiture / Figure drawing x 5 weeks
This is a fantastic opportunity to try out all of our courses for the cost of just one class and watch the demonstrations as many times as you wish!
These online tutorials will be emailed to you on a weekly basis and you will receive your first 5 classes on Monday 20th April and subsequent 5 classes every Monday from this date for a total of 5 weeks. You will also be emailed an invitation to our private Facebook Tutorial page where students will be able to post and receive feedback on their work, and be part of our online community.
Of course this won’t be as lovely as meeting at the art school, but I hope will offer support and encouragement to isolated students and keep our spirits up in these difficult times.
Please click here to book. https://buckingham-art-school.myshopify.com/collections/weekly-classes/products/online-tutorials
I have posted an example lesson on Facebook which you can see and enjoy here:https://youtu.be/EiniGwpBAhk
Thank you to everyone who said how much they loved it.
For our current A level and GCSE students, I will continue to offer online support via email.
I hope we can all get together for a show and tell after the term.
I will miss you all so very much and I hope this is a positive way of keeping us connected. I am extremely grateful for your continued support.
With much love and best wishes,
Zoë x

A Level Results Are In!!!
Over half our students received an A grade in their A or AS level in Fine Art for this year's examinations. All students who took the exam passed! This is a massive accomplishment and we are extremely proud. We keep telling them they're brilliant and now they've got a qualification to prove it!!! We have spaces for 2 more A level students to start in September, (this is the only entry point during the school year) so if you would like to know more then please get in touch as soon as possible.
